OVERVIEW:
What started out as merely a cover band in the Washington, DC area, DAMASCUS STEELE, would relocate to the Raleigh, North Carolina area in the early 1990s. Once there the band would come to find difficulty getting gigs as a cover band and would decide to began writing their own material. The short-lived band would only play a few shows that would contribute to the band's obscurity. Only one self-released full-length album would be released. Years after the release the album would be bootlegged and unofficially released on vinyl under a different title. Misinformation on sites such as Discogs and Metalarchives would follow referring to other releases that the band had not released or would even be aware of, one of which was an album that was supposedly released many years after the band had long dispersed.
